Hi Friends,
Well, we did it. The Holidays are over and all of the Christmas stuff is down, packed, and put away until next year, except for a few generic snowmen who are hanging around because after all, it is still winter. All the Christmas left-overs are gone and so is the Christmas music and the Christmas glow. People have returned to school and work. Things are back to normal.
Here is what I have I learned from all this:
1. Putting up Christmas, or any, decorations is fun. Taking them down and putting them away is work.
2. One hundred bulbs on a string of lights is not necessarily a good thing.
3. It's time for spring.
I'm waiting for the arrival of the groundhog next month. He's in big trouble if I don't like what he has to say. Grrr.

We put our Christmas decorations down too (yesterday)! Well, the outside ones, at least, because there is a storm coming fur the next few days..

Kids are back in school. Mine don't go back until the 8th. We still have holiday stuff up. Mom says it has to come down soon though

We took our trees down yesterday too, Koobie! Our DWB cards are still up though! We're hoping mom leaves them up for a long time!

It's soo sad that X'mas has ended so fast but oh well... Good thing my mom has no more school. I hate it when she leaves us at home until the afternoons. I'm glad she's home most of them time for us. Our decos are still up. Mommy doesn't want to take them down till the end of January becoz she said it was hell alot of work putting them up!

Mummy sez that the 12 days ov Crismoss start on Crismoss Day, so this meens that 12th nite is tomorro nite (5th Jan) so weer goin to tayke the tree an decorayshuns down tomorro. Daddy sez it shud be Epiphany, wich is this Sunday. But she sez it's bad luk to leev things up arfter 12th nite so we hav to pak it all up tomorro.
Well I got sum reelly grayte cards this yeer, cards sent to ME personally, an sum eevn wiv BEARS on them. So I think it shud be me hoo sez wen they come down, shuddent it? It's not fair.
I like it as it is, all the lites an stuff. It's cozy. I don't want to tayke them down.

Ya know Koob...u can say more in less words than any dog we know. Sorta like ur mom uses her camera...she makes the pictures say things without words.
Your insight on decorating and de-decorating was very profound. It's the same with returning movies and library books...fun to get, work to return. Go figure.
Lacie and Stanley get to go to the dog park, and I don't. Cuz i try to get snappy there. It's not fair. And Babystan and Lacie made a brown and black dogs only club last nite, with the 2 of them being the only members. If you had white fur...no play. I'm suing. They did snuggles, wrassles, roaches and left me standin' in the kitchen. And Lac tried to bite me if I tried to join in their stooopid games. Sniff.
At least Seymour's pups play with me....Ask Jackson if you can have one. We don't really know who they belong to.....
I'd LOVE to go to the play off game this weekend...the pix of the hockey game are in Bruvvers camera...will post soon!

What exactly DO you want Mr. Groundhog to say? You seem to like winter (at least the snow).
My girl said it's always kind of a letdown after Christmas when you put everything away, so she waits a little later before doing that.
