I was tagged the other day by Asta from Australia so I have to reveal 7 or 8 things about me that you don’t know. Now I am going to tag Axel and Butchy and Snickers.
Facts about me:
1. I actually like the deck and only kid about being in prison.
2. I like to hide things. They still haven’t found that remote control I hid months ago.
3. In the morning, after I wake my mom up, I go back to sleep.
4. I like to climb up on my grandpa’s shoulders and fall asleep.
5. I rearrange stuff, like sticks. I move them around from one place to another.
6. When I go for a walk, if it is too hot, I will lie down in the shade and not move. They have to stand there and wait until I’m ready to go again.
7. I hate dog food, all kinds. I know the difference between a steak bone and kibbles. A steak bone is a lot better.
8. I bark at weed wackers.

Here is my cousin Layla at work in her new duel-capacity job of outdoor furniture tester/lawn work supervisor. She is pretty good at what she does and she takes her work seriously. She has lots of responsibilites, but I don't think she works too hard. (And the pay is low.)
Koobie (still pretty much unemployed, except for chasing cats, squirrels, bunnies, and bugs)

That was a real nice nap. I am rested now and ready to go back to work.
On her blog the other day, Lorenza gave us an excellent lesson on how to destroy a toy. Today I am going to show you the proper technique for chewing a bully stick. Pay close attention to the following slide show. You never know when you will need this information.

It is a perfect day and my family left me alone here locked in on the deck. They are cutting the grass. They each took a lawn mower and away they went in their separate directions. They are having so much fun out on the lawn while I am stuck here having to watch. This is cruel and unusual punishment. All I can do is look at them through the railing. I feel like I'm in prison. I want to run around on the grass instead of sitting here on my a _ _. This treatment must cease. Does anyone know who our union representative is? (I hope it's a huge boxer who has heart burn.) I want to file a grievance. I'm not going to put up with this all summer. I have my rights! I'll show them.
Life is just not fair.

I'm finally back to bloggin'. It's been a while. I got my stitches out on May 9, as scheduled. The vet said I was all healed and I am doing fine. I don't have to go back there for a whole year, or is that seven years? I don't know which. When we left the vet's, my family took me for some ice cream since I was such a good girl. Ice cream is real good. I like it a lot, but I didn't get as much as I thought I should. They got more than I did.
The weather here has been wonderful lately, with lots of beautiful warm, sunny days. My humans have been spending most of their time outside (me too) which is another reason why I haven't been able to blog lately. My typist was unavailable. I am at her mercy since I don't know how to type yet. But when I learn, watch out! Anyway, it is good to be back.
