Columbus Day

A Columbus Day Poem
By Koobuss

In fourteen hundred and ninety-two
Columbus sailed the ocean blue.
Why he did that I don’t care.
It's before my time and I wasn’t there.

We have his day off just for fun
To doze and play again in the sun,
So let's all yell, “Aren’t we lucky!”
Coz soon it'll turn cold and yucky.

(If it hasn't already where you live.)

Thanks, Chris.

Happy Columbus Day Everybody!

That is one fine poem. The only one in our house with the day off is Pappy, but then he gets everyday off.
It is getting cool here.
