Hi Friends,

It has been an exhausting week, as you know. On Monday we all gathered at Asta's apartment in New York to welcome her home from her trip to Rome and to throw a surprise pawty for Ruby's second barkday. You must remember, you were all there. While Asta didn't get back until Tuesday night, we started to pawty on Monday soon after we arrived. That seems about right. Then when the pawty broke up on Thursday morning, on our way back home, Ruby couldn't fly her plane (we think she was sick), so Scruffy and I took the controls and we flew the plane. (I never did understand compasses.) When we "landed" in Mexico to drop off Lorenza, we missed our turn and ended up in Cancun. (Am I ever glad that sand is soft!) Anyway, while the plane was in the garage being repaired, we had some time to ourselves, so we hung out around the beach. There we were able to rest up and recuperate from our four days of pawtying, if you know what I mean. Ruby felt better the next day after her rest and some time in the sun. She was then able to resume her job as pilot and get us all home.

So, here I sit now thinkin'.

The first thing that I noticed when I got home was that my mom changed my photo on the top of my blog. Finally!! I was wondering how much longer she was going to let that old picture of me up there that was taken all the way back in February. I was such a kid then. She finally put a photo up of me as I look now, since my infamous haircut. I am a much more mature looking Koobuss.

And, that's what made me think. I began to wonder if, now that I look so grown up, if I should start acting more responsibly. After all, I am going to be eighteen months old this month. Maybe it is time for me to start behaving like an adult.

Can't see your new blog picture with our slow dialup but we sure did have a good time at the pawtys and the beach...thanks to all....but I'm wonderin what kind of garage you take a plane to? We felt as safe as a mouse being chased by a cat with you and Scruffy at the controls of Aire happy to be back on solid ground......

Sweet Koobie!

You are such a fun puppy! As far as I'm concerned you don't EVER have to grow up (I think you're plenty mature now - whatever you want, girl)!

Goober love & smooches,

We all have to grow older, it doesn't mean we have to act it.

Oh are we tired...perhaps it's jet lag or something. We plan on just hangin' out today perhaps chewin' some rawhide or furniture or something.

Maybe we should take a trip to outer space brain's workin' on that one.....

Koobie, maybe we should go to the moon for my first barkday next month?

Or maybe we should hang out here and play poker....

Decisions, decisions...

Growing up is over rated. Why would anyone want to give up having fun to act like they are responsible? Maybe to buy dog treats!

being an adult is overrated.

Wasn't Cancun wonderful. We got a nice tan lying in the sun while we waited for aire-ruby to be fixed.
Willow is so glad she packed her sun bonnet, it came in handy after all.

Hugs and tail wags

Hi, Koobuss -

You guys had a lot of fun in Mexico. At least Kaci and I got to New York in one piece. Mama didn't even know that I (Hershey) was gone - I must have done a good job sneaking out of the house to get Kaci.

Hope you had a good weekend.
Love -

Hershey and Kaci

P.S. Mama is not sure who the WFT is with the Met cap but she wanted to let you know that she is a die-hard Mets fan. Grandpa used to work at Yankee Stadium when Mama was a very young girl.
