If you recall, last week I began my search for a new secretary to replace my mom since she had become lax in her blogging duties. I posted this ad.
As expected, the economy being what is it, I had a lot of responses. Here are the applicants that I have interviewed so far.

This is becoming very difficult for me. They are all so evenly unqualified. I still have several applicants to interview yet. They are outside waiting their turn. Maybe one of these candidates will stand out and win the job.
I want treats, but I also need an income so I can buy gas for my vehicle.
I want treats. Things are very slow in Atlantic City now, so I may have to relocate.

Koobus, We hate to say this, but we don't see any qualified entrants. You might as well keep your present secretary. Unless something better comes along.
BTW, how long is your street? Sure are a lot of treat-loving dogs on it.

We are thinking that you have opened a can of treats that you can't control. This could turn into quite a disaster. Better keep the secretary that you have. Sometimes that is better than the unknown.

Maybe ya will neeed ta place yer ad a different way ta get just the right person fer the job....'n consider this Koobie, it may have ta be a human 'n not an animal cause most of 'em are missin' the opposin' thumb.....which ya may not use ta type but it sure helps when ya have a job...

Try giving each of them (perhaps your current securrtary, herself) that cute look that's in your eyes in your banner (true...it's hard to see your eyes, but you know the look we're talkin about) and see who melts. You're likely to have the most administrative impact on that one. The one that says, "Awwww..." and gives YOU the treats.

I'm not applying for no job..nope, not me...finally got retired and love every minute of it... just stopped in to see the fun happening over here, that's what....
Haaaaa!! All those unqualified dogs applied? Think they need to get down the dog school - but guess there isn't one down your street.
But Koobie the answer is right at home. I'm with Gussie, give Grandpa the job. The only treats he will want is to spend time with you. Playing harmonica, bully stick holding...dispensing treats to YOU. Yep my vote is for Grandpa. I'm an anonymous Grandpa fan too.
