Hi Friends!
I know that I had something that I needed to do today. Now what was it?
Oh yes! I remember. I have to check out my purse to see if I can go Easter shopping this year, the economy being what it is and all. Let's see. How do you open this?
Suddenly I saw something out of the corner of my eye.
It demanded my immediate attention.
Do you think this is the Easter Bunny?

True Colors Thursday -- Beige
Hi Everybody,
Today was True Colors Thursday, and as usual, my mom was late doing her job. Sometimes I wish I could fire her, but there are no replacements, so I'm stuck with her. For the most part she's okay, but as a secretary, sometimes she's not so hot. Anyway, here is some beige stuff, better late than never.
The first one, obviously, is my head and ears.
Next is our grass. OOPS! Who's that??
And here is a nest in our still bare lilac bush.
And more bare beige branches, only these have raindrops on them from today's rain.
Some beige geese swimming on a lake near us. My mom took this picture the other day.
And, finally, Kousin Layla. She has some beige on her head, too.
So, friends, that's about it for my beige stuff.
I would like to thank all of you who visited and sent me well-wishes on my Second Bloggarversary. It's because of you that I blog. Thanks again!

True Colors Thursday -- Green
Hi Everybody!
Today is True Colors Thursday and the color for this week is green. Aside from the usual green stuff, such as grass and leaves, which incidentally are not yet green here, we do not have a whole lot of green. Here is some of what we do have.
This is just part of my mom's vast collections of frogs, aka zhabas. She's got all kinds. 'Nuff said about that.
See what I mean?
Here's my green toy that I got from my late friend GirlGirl as a birthday gift when I turned a year old. I will treasure this always.
This is my green purse. It's kinda beat up. That's because it gets lots of use. You know how we girls are. We find a purse we like and we wear it into the ground.
And finally, here is the green shade on our multicolored lamp.
Next week the color is beige. Unfortunately our multicolored lamp does not have any beige shades. Then I'm sunk.

True Colors Thursday -- Violet
Hi Everybody,
Today is True Colors Thursday -- Violet Day.
I've looked around the house and I wasn't able to find a whole lot of violet stuff. I really had to think, but I did manage to come up with some things.
First, here is a photo of my favorite treats. I never noticed that the bag is violet. I was only interested in its contents. True Colors Thursday has helped me to pay attention to things that I used to take for granted. I love this bag (and what's inside it.)
Here is something that is very close to me. Let me model it for you. I wear it every day, all day, and every night, all night. I guess I like it.
This is the violet shade on our multi-colored lamp. I am so glad that we have that. I can use it almost every Thursday!
I'm not sure who this is except that he shows up here every year in early spring. Ditto for her.
This rather strange looking creature appeared on our deck soon after the snowman left. I'll have to investigate this further.
And, finally, here we have some violets!! They are not real, but they are violet, and that's all that counts.
Next week's color is green. I know I have a lot of that. For one thing, there's always the lamp. Hehehe...

Daylight Savings Time
Hello Friends,
I’m confused again. Humans really baffle me.
Tonight my mom is going around the house changing all the clocks. For some reason, she is pushing them all ahead an hour. She says that everyone is doing this and that tomorrow we will all have more daylight. Now, I am not a math person (fer sure), but how can we have more daylight by pushing the clocks ahead? Isn’t there only so much daylight? And, months from now, when we turn the clocks back, do we do it because then we want more darkness?
My whole routine will now be messed up for awhile because of this. Normally, I sleep until around 11:00, sometimes later. I go for my walk around noon. When I get home from my walk, I sit on Grandpa’s lap and give him Koobuss kisses. Then I take an afternoon nap and between 5 and 6 PM I have my supper. (I really like being a dog.)
After supper I patrol the front yard and bark at the neighbors, especially any cats, squirrels, bunnies, dogs, kids, bikes, etc. that wander past my territory. I have to protect my space, you know. Now I suppose that all this will happen an hour early, or is it later? I hope I’m not too sleepy to take my walk.
We dogs don’t need to have our clocks changed. We always know what time it is. We know when it’s time to eat and when it’s time to sleep. We know when it’s time to go for a walk and when it’s time to play. We know when it’s time for our people to leave for wherever it is that they go and when it’s time for them to return. We know when our people need kisses and when they need to laugh or cry. And we know all this without even wearing a wristwatch!
Why do humans make everything so complicated? Scheesh…..

True Colors Thursday -- Yellow
Hi Everybody,
Today is True Colors Thursday. The color for this week is yellow. We are supposed to take pictures of yellow stuff that is part of our lives. So to begin, I'm going to show you a picture of the yellow tag that I wear 24-7. It has something to do with my ID implant in case I ever get lost.
Next we have this guy. I don't know where he came from or what his name is, just that he arrived here a couple days ago. He doesn't look too happy, if you ask me.
Here we have some nice spring flowers. The second photo is a close-up of the first. The flowers are not real, but that's okay. It's not really spring yet, anyway.
Here are some bananas. Bananas taste good and are good for you. You don't find that combination too often.
This is some of my mom's reading material. Do you notice a pattern? Hehehehe...
Puppies for Dummies??? Now I've seen everything.
Here is a yellow lamp shade from our multicolored lamp. It's not too interesting, but it is yellow, so here it is.
And our yellow broom. We do not get along. I only put him on here because he's yellow.
These are some of our neighborhood comfort stations. We have several of them on our street, strategically located for our convenience.
Here is a yellow slicker hanging in our garage. I have never seen anyone use this in the more than two years that I am living here. I think that it's just a decoration.
And, last but not least, this is the yellow house across the street where my friend Poco lives.
So, friends, those are the yellow things that I see around here everyday. I hope that you like them, except for the broom, of course.
