Victory at Last!

Hi Friends,

After about a month of battling my mom in her attempt to convert me to a raw diet, I have emerged victorious! She has finally relented and returned me to a cuisine of the cooked variety. I knew I’d wear her down if I moped around long enough. Tonight she gave me ground turkey and rice, cooked. I dug right in and cleaned it up in no time. It was so good to get something to eat that was warm. After all, I am much more than the chief of security around here. I am the Princess!

Chalk another one up for Koobie!

Koobie’s Mom: Once again I am defeated by a two-year old terrier.

Don't feel too badly, Koobie's mom! Our mom tried to switch us to a raw diet, too, but we just chewed on the raw meat and didn't really eat it. We DID make a huge mess on our deck! Maybe we needed to start on raw food when we were tiny puppies...we don't really know.

You are who you are. Glad you didn't starve to death, but you know I think the raw foodables are to make you more healthier, so maybe one more try...

Yay Koobie! You go girl! Cooked tastes WAYYY better in my opinion. Well to be honest with you, there's really nothing wrong eating cooked food. Yes, some nutrients will be destroyed but not all so you're not eating empty food. I've always thought that raw blood tasted funny. Your poor Mom tried so hard but tell her, don't worry too much. Atleast you're eating up & savoring the food she cooks. It's not like you're rejecting them so she should be happy about it. Heehee!

Dear Koobie,

HURRAY for you! Hurray for your Mom too! She captured a particularly perfect photo of your face that hows how very happy you are with your 'food victory'!

So glad you like your toasty tasty diet! Here's my friend's blog with some homecooked recipes:

He's the one I mentioned who has epilepsy. They tried raw and it didn't work out for him, but cooked has been a miracle. His diet is very well balanced and is great for any dog. Just thought I'd share.

Happy feasting!

I think cooked food tastes way better than raw food, too. Unless it's something my parents are eating raw themselves and giving me bites of...

See ya!
