Hi friends,
My mom has been on the disabled list since last Sunday. There is a guy in her right knee called Arthur Itis and he has been acting up a lot lately. On Tuesday she had a cortisone shot in her knee and fluid drained from it. That helped for only a little while because she keeps unintentionally aggravating it. She is "walking" with a cane and can't do much of anything. Grandpa is taking me for my walks, so at least I'm getting out of the house. Mom and I can still play, but it's not like it was before. At least she isn't taking a lot of pictures and video of me acting badly that she can show to the world.
I hope she is better tomorrow.

So sorry to hear about your poor mom. That guy Arthur & his family ....do give us humans trouble. One of his brothrs frequently visits my left hand, the one I've in plaster right now, so will be sure to having his company this winter!
Lots of sympathy to mom, hope the dicomfort/pain eases up soon.

Oh Koobie..Not Arthuritis...that hurts...Lakie licks to your mom...you dont want Scruffy licks this am not after what that gross dog was eating. By the way, have you tried attacking the cane?? Our predecessor, Sarge, tried it once in a nursing home where he was visiting Mumsie's mother-in-law. (Perhaps if Mumsie hadn't scotch taped doggie treats to our huuman bruvers crutches when he sprained his ankle might have helped.) Sarge HATED those moving appendages and got some good chomps in before the old man whacked him one with the cane. Mumsie was deeply huuumilitated. Sarge felt victorious anyway, but never went to the nursing home again. Let's say he wasn't a Canine Good Citizen...Go State today....we are Penn State too!!!!! Lacie and Scruffy
