When's Hunting Season?
Hi Friends,
Will ya look at these guys! They are having such a good time here, pawtying day and night, having all kinds of fun at their annual reunion. Why do they have to have it at my house? They even posed for a group picture! What nerve!! All I can say is that they better have their fun now because pretty soon some of them will be dinner while the orange round-headed ones will be dessert. Hehe.
Anyway, I've decided to take some lessons on how to catch them. The bird that I saw run out of our yard, across the street, and through our neighbor's yard the other day looked exactly like this one on TV. It might have even been him! He had a green head and neck with a thick tight white necklace on. I tried to chase him, but to no avail. Catching him is going to be more difficult than I at first thought, so I have to pay strict attention here to what they are saying and learn as many pointers as possible. This is an urgent matter that requires my immediate attention. I must be well-prepared so that I am ready the next moment I see him. Of course, the next time that I see him I hope that my mom is not on the other end of the leash like she was the last time. If I have to keep dragging her around with me over the river and through the woods then I'll never catch him. But that's another story.

Looks like you are all set.
Simba x
you need to get the leash out of her hands so you can get that thing
Koobie...Teka is the hunter in our family (I'm the lover) and she suggests you start with small birds and mice to get into shape, and work your way up to the big guys.
That will help your mom get in shape for over the river and through the woods too! We are working this plan with our muzzer , and she has lost some weight and it sleeping much better.

Koobie, perhaps you're a Wire Fox Retriever?
Your pal,
Petey
Koobie, if you catch one of those turkeys in the next week or so, and bring it to your Mom, she might stuff and cook it for Thanksgiving Day Dinner!
Love,
Aunt Janet
Your mom would be praising you bigtime if you caught Thanksgiving dindin and saved her some bucks, don't you think, Koobie! We say go for it!
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch

hugs and treats!
Hi, Koobie!
Let them party until their time comes!
To hunt being on leash is not easy! I know that!

It's never easy to hunt while you're on the end of a leash, Koobie. We suggest you run really fast and pull that leash right out of your mom's hand. Or...you could try turning around in circles really fast. That squishes her fingers so she has to let go. It works for us all the time!
Aire-hugs,
Poppy, Penny & Patches
You should be a good hunter, right?

Your mom sounds like a real drag. On a leash, that is. Never try to hunt while on a leash. The human has the upper hand then.
