Flower Power
Hi Everybody!
Here I was the other day, on duty guarding the flowers around my deck. I was perfectly happy, enjoying myself in the sun, and look at what came in for a landing.
Where'd he go? Oh, there he is. Let's get a closer look.
Oh, what fell on my head?
HELP!!
I'll get it off.
Well, that was very unpleasant. Why does everything happen to me?

Something New to Worry About
Hi Furry and Non-furry Friends,
Earlier today when I went out on my deck I saw something out of the corner of my eye that should not be there yet. So, I approached it very carefully. And, look what I found! Leaves!! Lots and lots of leaves from our red maple tree behind the deck. They are not supposed to be here yet. It's still summer, according to the calendar. Last year we didn't have this many leaves on the deck until November. What's going on here??? I hope that this is not a sign of bad things to come. Please tell me we're not going to have a bad winter! Somebody, please tell me that!!
And these things, whatever they are, are starting to make an appearance. I think I remember these purple flowers from last year. They're okay, but after they're gone, there's nothing else comin' except cold. I think our days basking in the sun are numbered. Sigh...

Catching Up
Hi Friends,
I'm back again, still trying to get caught up with my bloggy buddies. The other day I told you about my date with Scruffy. That was back a little while ago. This brings me to last Friday. Here is my mom trying to set up her new laptop. She mumbled something about computers. Maybe it's a good thing that I don't know what she said. But anyway, I think it may be part of the reason why I'm behind in my blogging. As you can see, she doesn't look too happy.
Last Saturday Scruffy and I went back to Penn State to see the game again. Because Scruff got car sick the last time, he decided to bring a different mode of transportation. Something a little slower. This vehicle had a nice ride, but boy, were my legs sore, for some reason. Maybe it was because we took the scenic route, since the interstates were too much for Scruffy to handle last time.
We finally made it to the game, and once again, parking was a problem. I hope that someday I get better at that.
Then Scruffy and I had a delicious lunch. I just love what was on the menu. It was another wonderful day!!

Checkin' In
Hi Everybody!
It's me, Koobuss! I'm back...
Some of you may have been wondering where I have been lately. Me, too. It has been a very busy last couple of weeks for me. What has been going on? Well, let me tell you...
But before I begin, I want to share with everyone the Get Well card that I made for my friends Dewey, Toby, and Asta Marie. I'm sure that you know what happened to them on their vacation in the woods up in northwestern Pennsylvania.
Now... What have I been up to? First, there was that date that I had with Scruffy. He hitchhiked from Pittsburgh across the state so that we could go out together. We did the usual dinner and a movie in nearby Wilkes-Barre. Here we are driving around Public Square. For some reason, I had the feeling that we were going around in circles.
We finally got a parking spot. Then we stopped at an outdoor cafe for lunch. Unfortunately, the service was very slow there and nobody seemed to be eating. I almost collapsed from hunger.
Eventually we made it to the movies. We saw 101 Fox Terriers in their latest terrier movie, "Terrier on Fifth Avenue". I thought I got a glimpse of Asta in a cameo roll. She was a walk on. Scruffy didn't see her. He was too busy sleeping. Guys don't like romantic movies.
Then we posed for a picture to give us something to remember the day by. Now, if I could only remember where I put the car.
Sigh... We had such a nice time. Scruffy was a real gentleman. And so handsome, too.
