Gotha Day!!

Hi Everybody!!

Today is a big day for me. It is my Gotcha Day! Two years ago today (December 30, 2006) my mom and grandpa got me from Cindy and Ray Smith of A1 Fox Terriers of Rexleigh. I said goodbye to my parents, Molly and Bandit, of Binghamton, NY, and moved into my forever home with my mom and grandpa in Mountain Top, PA. I took right over.

Look what we got the other day. These photos were taken near where I live in Mountain Top, PA, on Saturday after an ice storm hit the area Friday morning. Looks like winter is here to stay for a while. Makes me wish I had a sled.

Six Folder Tag

Hi Friends,

When I read about the Six Folder Tag on Maggie and Mitch's bloggie I thought, "I could do that." Sounds like fun. But when I started to look on the computer for the sixth folder, which happens to be 2008, and then in the first Album, which is January, I started to get nervous. You could see why. It's a picture of me doing something I'm not supposed to be doing. You know, the kind that your secretary does not put on your blog in order to protect your image and reputation. I am mortified. Anyway, here it is.

It's me after I just ripped something apart. And, look at the attitude! I'm much more grownup now. That was so puppyish. So last year. I'm not like that anymore. I'm much too cool to even bother with that sort of thing now. Just so you know.


If you want to play along, it is very easy. Just go down to the sixth folder in your photo program (I use iphoto), and over to the sixth photo in that folder. Post it and tell the story behind it. Serving Notice

Hi Friends,

I just want to announce that the area inside and outside this house is mine. I am in total control of this space. It is my domain. No one is allowed on my turf without my approval first. That includes all intruders of all types. Today on my walk I chased a big cat under a camper and I almost caught a furry little mole running through the neighborhood. (And don't forget, I have to drag my mom along while I am chasing these things, and that ain't easy.) I almost had that little mole right in my mouth, but mom pulled me back just in time. Shucks!

Anyway, I just want all you cats, moles, squirrels, bunnies, snowpeople, penguins, raindeer, and whatever else you are, to know that I am not afraid of you. This is my house. Anybody who comes here has to deal with me first. I may be small, but I am mighty! My name is Koobuss and I am a Wire Fox Terrier!


(I also give lots of kisses and I smile a lot, but please don't tell anybody. I don't want to be found out.)

Look Who Is Coming Now

Hi Everybody,

The last time I spoke to you, my friends, all the turkeys, scarecrows, and fall flowers were awaiting transportation to their off-season hide-away. That has since come, and I am happy to report that they are now gone.

Just when I thought I wouldn't have to look at those silly smiles anymore (I don't know why they were always so happy), a whole new group started to arrive. I have the feeling that a lot more of them will be coming, too. This is just the beginning. Is there no end? When will I finally have the house to myself?

The best thing about all these guys showing up here all the time is that they do not eat any of my food or treats. If they did, they'd be in big trouble!! I'm a wire fox terrier and I certainly would not stand for that!!

I Have Returned

Hi Friends!

Look who showed up on my deck today. From the looks of things, he will be here a while. He even has a hot beverage to keep him comfy. Humph. He thinks that if he keeps waving at us that we will like him better. Looks pretty cold to me. Brrr...


And, look at this, will ya! Something is wrong here, or is it normal for geraniums to have buds on them when the temperature is this low? I really don't know anything about this stuff.
